	Trends in Dog Ownership - Find Out What's New

Hi Readers,

The American Kennel Club (AKC) recently announced the top 10 breeds based on dog registrations in 2009. As before, the Labrador Retriever is still #1. However, if you look at it by city - the Lab is loosing a little ground. For example, the German Shepherd ranked first in Columbus, Detroit, Honolulu, Memphis, Miami, Providence and West Palm Beach. The Yorkshire Terrier, Bull Dog and Bull Terrier are tops in other cities.
