Hi Readers, Today is "Clean Out Your Refrigerator Day".  This made me think about the number of people that give treats to their dog, left overs and even food from the frig when they clean it out. How do I know? Because I see many of these dogs come to the clinic. I'll explain in a second. First, let me ask you if you give your dog table scraps. They don't need table scraps. And left over food from the frig can be especially problematic. The problem is that some food just doesn't agree with dogs and it can cause vomiting and diarrhea. More serious problems such as pancreatitis can also occur.  Another problem is moldy food.
