I think it is really cool how you dog lovers come up with your dog's names.
We have gotten hundreds of emails about naming dogs based on different characteristics. The most common attribute dog lovers use to try to name their dog is the dog's hair color, spots or coat!
We have created our own list of dog names based on their hair.
Here are a few names that dog lovers recently sent to me:
A wrinkled dog named "Yoda"
Another wrinkled dog named "Crinkles"
Who cannot love a white dog named "Casper" - especially this time of year?
Or a black and white dog named "Panda"
I love these names. Click on the links below that correspond to your dog's hair color and see if your dog 's name is on the list.
Dog names are really fun ... almost as much fun as our dogs!
Until next time,
Dr. Jon
P.S. Do you get your dog something special for Halloween? We have a great Trick or Treat Collection with some yummy all-natural maple treats and an ugly green troll toy (complete with orange armpit hair!) - that troll really cracks me up. If you haven't seen it, you should check it out. Just click on the video below, or go to: http://www.petproductadvisor.com/halloween-kit-dog
P.P.S. If your dog 's name isn't on the list - email us! We'd love to keep adding to our list of names! And please feel free to share this e-mail with a dog-loving friend. Ask them to share their dog 's name to the list.

Chocolate Toxicity in Dogs
The amount of chocolate required to poison your pet depends on the type of chocolate he's eaten.
White chocolate has the least amount of toxins and baking chocolate or cocoa beans has the highest.
